Family Healthcare Partners to Join Allegheny Health Network
GROVE CITY, Pa. – Beginning Jan. 1, Family Healthcare Partners will join Allegheny Health Network, bringing the five offices and three physicians into the fold of the Pittsburgh-based health system.
The physicians – Drs. David Hoyt, Edward Smith and Christopher Sprando – will continue to be available at their current offices, along with staff Nicole Chekanowsky, Ross Keffer, Melinda Lackey, Anne Leali, Cassey Hanna, Shelly Somers and Kayla Weaver.
Family Healthcare has two offices in Grove City – 420 Hillcrest Ave. and 675 N. Broad St. – and one in Mercer at 400 W. Butler St., as well as sites in Stoneboro and Harrisville. All three physicians have medical staff privileges at Allegheny Health Network Grove City and have held leadership roles.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome our colleagues Drs. Smith, Hoyt and Sprando to Allegheny Health Network,” said Dr. Allan Klapper, interim president of AHN Grove City, in a statement. “They have been friends of this hospital for many years and their long standing relationship with this community and our caregiving team speaks to their commitment to improving the health of those who live in the Mercer County region.”
AHN Grove City joined the health-care system in January. It has 67 acute care beds and employs 350.
