YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown State University football team will present Meet the Penguins Day from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at the WATTS field house, on campus.
Admission is free.
Fans will be able to get autographs and photos from the players and even try on a YSU uniform, kick field goals, test their 40-yard dash times, enjoy inflatables and toss footballs with members of the team and the coaching staff. The Pete the Penguin mascot, along with Penny, and members of the YSU spirit squad will be in attendance.
The YSU Bookstore will sell Penguins merchandise at the event, and food and drinks will be available for purchase in the M-81 parking lot, where a tent and tables and chairs will be set up. Food and drinks aren’t permitted inside the WATTS center.
Parking will be available in the M-81 lot.
