CANFIELD, Ohio – The Farmers National Banc Corp. Board of Directors on Tuesday declared a quarterly cash dividend of 18 cents per share.
The dividend represents a 1 cent per share, or 5.6%, increase from the second quarter dividend payment. It will be payable Sept. 30 to shareholders of record Sept. 11.
“The increase in our quarterly dividend reflects the company’s financial strength, the successful acquisition and integration of Middlefield and our commitment to returning capital to shareholders,” said Kevin J. Helmick, president and CEO of Farmers. “Based on our expected 2026 annual dividend of 70 cents per share, our dividend has increased at a compound annual rate of approximately 16% over the past decade, compared with an annual dividend of 16 cents per share in 2016. We believe our strong financial position provides us with the flexibility to continue rewarding shareholders while investing in the future growth of Farmers.”
Farmers, which trades on NASDAQ under the symbol FMNB, reported $7.1 billion in banking assets, with $5.1 billion in total wealth management assets, as of June 30.
