YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Female Founded will host its inaugural fashion show and vendor event from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Penguin City Brewing Co.
The event will feature more than 40 women-owned businesses and 10 to 15 boutiques participating in a full-scale fashion show. Additional programming includes speakers, music, food, basket raffles and other community-centered activities.
The event will benefit Clothed in Strength, a nonprofit based in Poland, Ohio, that supports single mothers in the Mahoning Valley. The organization provides basic necessities and emergency financial grants and connects women with local resources.
Organizers expect more than 250 attendees. Tickets are available via Female Founded’s Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as at the door.
