YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – “Faithful Intentions,” the latest movie by Youngstown-based filmmaker James Ford, is available for viewing on Amazon Prime Video.
The feature film was written by Jillian Holt, with the story by Ford and Eric Nolan. It was filmed in 2024 and 2025 in Cortland, Mecca, Warren and Cleveland.
The actors, who are all from the region, are Ayla Thompson, Jamaal Watkins, Deborah Chenault-Green, James Abernathy, Alvin Frazier and Sam Glover.

“Faithful Intentions” is a drama about a romantic scandal that affects two couples.
It starts when Megan wins a weekend getaway at her wealthy boss’s vacation home. What should have been a romantic retreat for her and her husband turns deadly when home invaders mistake her for the boss’s wife – forcing her to reveal the sordid secrets of her own love life.
While trying to convince the invaders of her real identity, secrets come out and Megan’s picture-perfect marriage begins to unravel.
Ford is asking viewers who watch the film to leave a rating and a review, which will help more people discover it.
The movie is Ford’s second feature film. His first, “What Happens in the Dark,” was released in 2023 on Tubi.
