WARREN, Ohio – Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership recently received a $3,750 donation from First National Bank in support of its effort to provide home ownership opportunities in the city through the construction and resale of four single-family homes.

“Owning a home unlocks the opportunity to build wealth and establish financial stability,” said Deanna Vaughn, director of community lending at F.N.B. “We are proud to play a role in Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership’s initiative and to positively impact a community we call home.”

In partnership with the Trumbull County Land Bank and through support from Welcome Home Ohio, TNP is building four new homes on the site of the former Emerson School on the northwest side of Warren. The three-bedroom, 1,464-square-foot homes will be sold to qualifying buyers who agree to occupy them for five years. TNP expects to list the properties before the end of the year.

“These new homes are a sign of renewal and long-term investment in the neighborhood,” said Matt Martin, executive director of TNP. “By building quality, affordable housing on formerly vacant lots, we’re strengthening the community block by block and giving families the opportunity to put down roots and thrive in Warren. We’re deeply appreciative of First National Bank’s support.”
