WARREN, Ohio – Today in Flashback, Savannah Moss, collections and research manager for the Trumbull County Historical Society, offers a look at the history of the Warren Tool and Forge Co. and its place in the city’s industrial past.

Founded in 1911, the company expanded quickly through new construction and added machinery and strategic acquisitions that extended production into malleable iron castings. By the 1930s, it had become a major producer of track and contractor’s tools and a steady employer in the community.
