YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Debora Flora, executive director of the Mahoning County Land Bank, is taking a larger role in shaping land bank policy across Ohio.
As the new president of the Ohio Land Bank Association, Flora plans to advocate for land banks as they move beyond demolition into housing, property revitalization and economic development.
Her two-year term also will bring the association’s annual conference to Mahoning County in April, giving the Mahoning Valley a chance to highlight land bank projects across the Lake to River region.
