CHAMPION, Ohio – Flying High Inc.’s Professional Development Center, in partnership with OhioMeansJobs, will host a community job fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 18 in the Library/Theatre Building at Kent State University at Trumbull.
The free event will offer job seekers the opportunity to connect face-to-face with local employers hiring for positions that offer competitive wages and benefits, predominantly in the manufacturing and labor industries, a news release states.
Local employers participating in the event include Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic Corp., Livi Steel Inc., Glunt Industries Inc., BRT Extrusions Inc., Kundle Industries Inc., Zekelman Industries Inc., Metalico Inc., Tata Steel Ltd., Tri-County Tower LLC, Brilex Industries Inc. and Jet Stream International Inc.
In addition to meeting employers, attendees will also be able to access support services designed to help them earn skills credentials, obtain a valid driver’s license, secure reliable transportation, pass a drug screen and strengthen professionalism and workplace skills.
