BOARDMAN, Ohio – The Texas Roadhouse restaurant at 1221 Boardman-Poland Road will host a three-day new toy and food collection drive to benefit Project MKC and Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley.
For every donated item Thursday, Friday and Saturday, guests will receive a ticket for a chance to win a Texas Roadhouse gift basket valued at more than $200.
The most needed items include peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, canned tuna, dry pasta, cereal, macaroni and cheese, canned soups, laundry detergent, dish detergent, new toys and books, deodorant, bar soap, bodywash, face wash/wipes, body spray, lotion, toothbrushes and toothpaste, hair brushes/combs, hair ties, headbands and hair accessories, shampoo and conditioner, children’s and juniors’ pajamas, flashlights, socks, diapers, wipes and baby items such as rattles, mega blocks, teething toys, sippy cups, snack bowls, bibs, washcloths, baby wash, baby lotion, shampoo and hats.
