WARREN, Ohio – At its meeting Wednesday, the Trumbull County Planning Commission recognized James Rodway as its Something Good Initiative recipient for November.
Rodway retired after 32 years of service to Liberty Township, where he led the Zoning and Code Enforcement Department.
Rodway joined the township in 1994 and rebuilt and modernized a once-vacant zoning department and helped guide major developments such as Shepherd of the Valley, Kline’s Farm, Liberty Senior Lofts, TownPlace Suites and Walmart.
He also played a significant role in revitalizing the Belmont corridor and supporting the arrival of new hospitals, hotels, retailers and neighborhoods.
The Something Good Initiative recognizes individuals and organizations for their contributions to the community.
