NILES, Ohio – The former Phillips Manufacturing Co. building and property at 504 Walnut St. have been sold for $2.2 million.

Trumbull County Auditor’s Office records show Niles Plant LLC sold the 10-acre property and building to 504 Walnut LLC. The transaction was dated April 21.

The address listed for 504 Walnut LLC with the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office is 195 E. Park Ave. That’s the address of Dinesol Plastics Inc. A representative at Dinesol declined to comment when contacted by The Business Journal.

Dinesel is a custom injection molding service provider.

“Since 1976 Dinesol Plastics has dedicated its operations to supplying their customers with a wide range of components including housewares, consumer durables, building and construction, automotive, appliance, hardware, healthcare, marine, electronics, lawn and garden, toy, newspaper industries and many others just to share a few,” its website says. 

The company was founded in West Farmington. It was acquired by Steel City Manufacturing in 1989 and later moved its operations to Niles.
