CORTLAND, Ohio – A former Rite Aid drugstore at 529 S. High St. has sold for $920,000 to local investors, according to information from the Trumbull County auditor’s office.
Auditor’s data show that Waters Edge Equity Management LLC of Cortland purchased the property from Realty Income Corp. on July 10. Incorporation documents filed with the Ohio Secretary of State lists Toma Leveto of Niles as the authorized agent of the management company.
The most recent appraisal places a value of $1.8 million on the building and an accompanying 1.46 acres. According to an earlier real estate listing, the building measures 11,185 square feet and comes with a 45-space parking lot.
Rite Aid announced last year that it would close all of its locations in the Mahoning and Shenango valleys after it filed bankruptcy in 2023. The High Street location was built in 1998, records show.
