BOARDMAN, Ohio — G-Dab’s Sweet Treats, 8578 Market St., will hold its official grand opening at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a weekend of promotional activities.
The bakery, owned by Debbie Jupp, offers a variety of cookies, pastries and cakes, including popular items such as cinnamon rolls, New York rolls and a growing selection of gluten-free products.
Since a soft opening about a month ago, the business has seen steady traffic, particularly for items such as macarons, gluten-free cupcakes and pistachio-flavored pastries. A Strawberry Fest is scheduled for this weekend, featuring seasonal desserts such as pies, cupcakes and donuts.
Beginning next week, G-Dab’s will expand its hours to 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. A new espresso machine will also be operational, coinciding with the launch of a Two-for-Tuesday promotion offering a pastry and coffee for $5.
The bakery also offers custom cake orders, catering and specialty pastries made fresh daily.
