YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The second annual Mission: LoveMusic Legacy concert will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at Stambaugh Auditorium. The event honors the late Stephen L. Gage, a longtime Youngstown State University music professor and former director of bands.
Tickets are $16, plus a $4 processing fee, and available at StambaughAuditorium.com. Students with an ID will be admitted free.
Approximately 90 musicians — including former students, colleagues and friends — will perform works meaningful to Gage. The program includes a new piece by Dana School of Music alumnus Jerry Ascione, dedicated to Gage and faculty past and present.
