Gibson Agency to Host Annual Community Appreciation Event

GIRARD, Ohio – The Gibson Agency is inviting the community to its annual Community Appreciation Day on July 25.

The event, which will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley, will take place from 4-8 p.m. at the agency’s office, 984 Tibbetts-Wick Road.

The event is open to the public, and food will be provided by the agency and local vendors, including Sprankle Concessions and Wok on the Wild Side. There will be giveaways and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds from the raffle will directly benefit Second Harvest.

Those who attend the event are asked to bring a nonperishable donation to contribute to Gibson’s food drive for Second Harvest. Items can also be dropped off at the agency’s office during regular business hours through July 25. The most needed items include peanut butter, cereal, tuna fish, canned vegetables, canned fruit and dry pasta.

Gibson Agency was recently honored with a 2025 Make More Happen Award, securing a $10,000 donation for Second Harvest, made possible by Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance.
