YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Bergen Giordani, co-owner of Gorant Chocolates and the Dessert Bar at Gorant, says she is looking for confidence, enthusiasm and market awareness from entrepreneurs participating in this year’s YBI Shark Tank competition.
Giordani, who was selected as one of this year’s sharks, says the role is a “full circle moment” after she previously applied to appear on the television show “Shark Tank.” She says her own entrepreneurial journey began more than 14 years ago and has evolved from operating a business while working full time elsewhere to leading multiple companies and employing a growing staff.
Giordani says she hopes to see more Mahoning Valley entrepreneurs participate in this year’s competition and encouraged applicants to believe in their ideas and present themselves with confidence.
