YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Good’s Electric, Heating & Air has launched its Safety for the Season campaign, an initiative designed to provide assistance to those in need in the Mahoning Valley.
Through Jan. 31, a portion of the proceeds from every purchase of safety products from Goods will be donated to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley. Eligible products include items that help keep homes safe, including smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, surge protectors and indoor/outdoor outlets.
“We’re excited to combine our commitment to home safety with our passion for giving back,” said Dannie Erb, general manager of Goods Electric, Heating & Air. “This campaign allows us to make a meaningful impact in our community while helping families ensure their homes are safe and comfortable during the winter season.”
The campaign is “a unique and thoughtful way to contribute” to the rescue mission, said Lynn Wyant, CFRE and chief development officer for the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley. “Up to 186 men, women and children stay at the shelter nightly, and meals have exceeded 400 daily during the holidays. Including the shelter in promotions like this is a win for everyone, and we are so grateful.”
Residents can support the campaign by purchasing any of the eligible safety products during an appointment with a Goods team member. For more information or to book a service, call 330 533 2125.
