SALEM, Ohio — Founded in 1945 by Lloyd Gordon, Gordon Bros. Water Systems has grown from a small family-run water softener business into a regional water-treatment company serving Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The Salem-based company has adapted to advances in technology, shifting consumer concerns and new partnerships to remain competitive nearly 80 years later.
While the company has changed significantly over the decades, family members say its long-term outlook remains steady, with an emphasis on quality water, employee stability, customer relationships and continuing the business for future generations.
