Gov. DeWine Announces New Economic Development Region
NILES, Ohio – Gov. Mike DeWine on Wednesday announced the creation of a new JobsOhio network region known as the Lake to River economic development region.
The four-county region includes Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties in the northeastern corner of Ohio.
“It’s not like this region wasn’t doing well before,” DeWine says. “Community leaders are just saying, ‘We can take this to a new level. We could just really really sail now,’ and I believe them.”
