At HBK CPAs & Consultants’ Youngstown office, we’ve created a culture where people genuinely want to come to work.

Our commitment to work-life balance starts with our open leave policy for professional team members, providing flexibility that adapts to their evolving personal and professional needs year after year – because we understand that life isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Our Fun Committee ensures the workplace stays energized and connected. During tax season’s demanding weeks, they arrange catered lunches and dinners so our team can refuel together. Throughout the year, food trucks roll up to the office, and after-hours events give colleagues a chance to celebrate outside the office walls.

These aren’t just perks – they’re intentional moments that build the relationships that make challenging work rewarding.

We’ve embraced “Dress for Your Day,” empowering team members to decide what’s appropriate based on their schedule. Meeting with clients? Dress professionally. Heads-down project work? Come comfortable. This simple trust signals respect for our employees’ judgment.

Beyond our walls, HBK Cares reflects our values in action throughout the Mahoning Valley. We actively support the American Heart Association for the Tri-County area, United Way and Golden String Inc., along with many other local organizations.

Our recent donation to Youngstown State University’s Kilcawley: Centered on the Future Campaign demonstrates our investment in the community that’s invested in us. Through partnerships with the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber and YSU, we’re not just doing business here – we’re building futures.

What makes HBK Youngstown exceptional isn’t any single policy or perk. It’s the combination: flexibility when you need it, fun when you need a break, comfort in your daily work environment and a shared commitment to making our community stronger. We’re building careers and relationships that last.
