Doug Wittenauer, CEO of PDMI, has been focused on creating a positive employee culture at the company since he founded it in 1984.
With its hybrid work model and flexible schedule, PDMI’s leaders recognize that their employees are people first. This understanding, paired with insight collected through regular employee experience surveys, has led to the development of several team member-focused initiatives that position PDMI as a great place to work.
Guusto, an employee recognition program, lets teammates send notes and digital gift cards to thank and recognize each other for demonstrating PDMI’s core values. Of course, the recognition goes beyond just utilizing Guusto. The HR department goes above and beyond by sending gifts to those employees who are celebrating a life milestone, whether it be the birth of a child, a marriage or even a pet adoption.
PDMI offers a strong benefits program, offering robust medical, dental and vision coverage; short- and long-term disability, life insurance, voluntary life insurance and paid parental leave, to name a few.
The paid parental leave policy offers eligible employees one month of paid leave following the birth, adoption or foster care placement of a child. There is also a volunteer time off policy that empowers employees to take up to eight hours of paid time off each year to support a nonprofit or community initiative.
PDMI’s ever-growing training and development program offers employees a variety of development and career paths, an in-depth onboarding package and more than 300 lessons to choose from in its learning management system
Though primarily a remote operation, teams have the chance to connect through an extensive events calendar that offers in-person events for employees, virtual games, wellness challenges and info sessions, courses on financial health and more.
