Tolmiros Financial Designs employees praise the company’s supportive culture and commitment to doing what’s right in nominating it as a 2025 Great Place to Work.

“Tolmiros Financial Designs is truly an exception among modern employers,” says Caitlyn Ady, director of operations and client experience. “While organizations talk about inclusivity, values, first principles, respect, community support, volunteerism and work-life balance, Tolmiros doesn’t just check these boxes – they live them every single day. From ownership to every team member, the culture is built on supporting one another and doing what’s right, simply because it’s right.”

And Cade Kreps, a certified financial planner at the company, says Tolmiros is built around a book titled, “Unreasonable Hospitality,” by Will Guidara.

“We strive to create an environment where all employees are aligned on the mission, and each knows their important role in achieving it,” Kreps explains. “Tolmiros provides a clothing allowance, a healthy lifestyles allowance and a clear pathway for growth both personally and professionally. We have regular #giveboldly days where we close the office and volunteer in the community – most recently at the Warren Family Mission. Tolmiros offers health benefits, retirement benefits, work schedule flexibility, and most importantly a place to be excited to come to each day.”

Danielle Fraelich, client service specialist, says Tolmiros puts people first.

“Work/life balance is taken seriously here, and leadership is always understanding when something comes up,” she says. “If you need to shift your schedule or take care of something personal, there’s real flexibility and no guilt attached to it.”

Fraelich also points to the culture. “There’s zero drama, everyone respects each other, and we really do work as a team,” she adds.

She also praises the compensation and benefits.

Kayla Lubert, an administrative assistant, lauds her bosses, Jonathan Lapine and Ryan Glinn, calling them the epitome of great leaders.

“They are kind, yet guiding,” she says. “They prioritize [both physical and mental health] so much [that] they have a healthy living reimbursement.”

The company also recognizes employee birthdays and achievements and encourages support of charitable organizations.

John Bates, a financial planner, says the company cares and respects employees like family.

“Everyone shows up when needed and is never afraid to step in when a teammate needs help,” he writes.

Ady, the director of operations and client experience, points to personal experience. For most of her tenure at the company, she was her grandmother’s primary caregiver.

“Although she lived in a long-term care facility, the responsibility was constant and unpredictable,” she says. “There were countless times when I would receive a call to go to the facility, meet her at the hospital, or get her to an appointment. Not once was I told I couldn’t leave the office or that my presence at work took priority. Instead, every single time, I was met with nothing but support and the same simple question: ‘What can we do to help?’”
