GREENVILLE, Pa. – Greenville Savings Bank recently announced that its employees raised $2,000 to support United Way’s Stuff the Bus program, which provides warm winter clothing for local children in need.
The program mobilizes resources to collect winter apparel, such as coats, hats, gloves and boots for families facing financial hardships. The $2,000 raised by Greenville Savings Bank employees will help ensure that hundreds of children in Mercer County receive proper clothing to stay warm throughout the winter months, a news release states.
“Our employees truly care about the well-being of our community, and this donation is a testament to their commitment to making a positive impact,” said Tracey Shultz, president and CEO of Greenville Savings Bank. “Winter weather can present real challenges for families, especially for those with limited resources. Supporting United Way enables us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children across our community.”
