GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College raised $52.63 million in the just-closed fiscal year, shattering a fundraising record set last year.

The result marks a 44% increase over the previous year’s gift total, according to Jeff Prokovich, vice president for advancement.

The money supports need- and merit-based financial aid awards that go to more than 70% of the student body, campus building and improvement projects and enhancement of academic programs and student-life initiatives.

“These gifts benefit students, from increasing scholarship opportunities to ensuring they have access to the latest technology and state-of-the-art facilities to supporting programs that help them grow in wisdom and faith,” Prokovich said. “And while figures like these may seem like they are beyond comprehension, we hope to build on our momentum so that we can provide even more opportunities and scholarships for our students.”

Grove City College accepts no federal funding and relies on tuition and support from private individuals and donor-advised funds.

“The support of our donor community, which includes more than 5,000 alumni and friends, is critical to the operation of the college now and essential to fulfilling our mission in the future. We are blessed by their generosity,” Prokovich said.

The college is conducting a $185 million comprehensive campaign to fund student scholarships; capital improvements across campus, including a renovation of the iconic 90-year-old Rockwell Hall of Science; and enhanced student services. Impact 150: The Anniversary Campaign for Grove City College is a three-year effort tied to the college’s sesquicentennial celebration in 2026.
