CANFIELD, Ohio – HBK CPAs & Consultants announced Monday that it has acquired McLean, Koehler, Sparks & Hammond, a Maryland-based accounting firm.
The addition of MKS&H establishes the first offices in Maryland for HBK, with locations in Timonium and Frederick, and adds about 35 professionals to HBK’s team. It also advances the firm’s key objectives for strategic growth, geographic expansion into new markets and enhanced industry experience, a news release states.

Founded more than 80 years ago, MKS&H has a reputation for comprehensive accounting, tax, audit and business consulting services to middle-market clients, the release states. MKS&H has specialized expertise in construction, real estate, manufacturing and distribution, nonprofits, international tax and accounting and deathcare, which is a new industry for HBK.
