COLUMBIANA, Ohio – Heartland Christian School will host Compass Career Day on Tuesday, featuring representatives from multiple businesses and professions.
A representative from Humtown is among the participants and will demonstrate the company’s M Unit, its tabletop Proto Hologram device.
Career Compass Day is a hands-on exploration event where students build interactive booths, present real career research and connect with professionals.
The event will include career booths created by Heartland Christian students as well as booths by companies and members of the community. Each booth includes a digital infographic listing salary, degrees and top locations; career-related props and interactive tools; an education pathway and timeline plan; and a day-in-the-life career explanation.
The day involves students in fifth through 12th grades visiting the booths and asking questions. Some older students also will present their career research to their younger counterparts.
