YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County welcomed Heather Chunn as the newest member of its board of trustees.
Chunn is the vice president of operations and human resources at the Youngstown State University Foundation and brings experience in nonprofit leadership, philanthropy and community engagement through her work with the foundation.
“I strongly believe that our libraries are vital to our community, and I am deeply honored and humbled to serve on the board of trustees,” Chunn said.
Carole Weimer, PLYMC board president, welcomed the appointment, noting Chunn’s commitment to the library’s mission and the community.
“We are thrilled to have Heather on the board,” Weimer said. “Her passion for the community and the library makes her a perfect choice.”
