YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber recently welcomed Amber Henriquez as its 2025 summer intern through the Ohio Export Internship Program at Youngstown State University.
A junior majoring in economics and business analytics, Henriquez will support a range of export-focused initiatives aimed at helping local businesses grow internationally.
This summer, she will work to strengthen partnerships with the Small Business Development Center and Export Assistance Network at YSU, connect chamber members with export resources and conduct surveys to identify trade challenges and opportunities. Henriquez will also help promote trade missions and webinars, improve communication between partners and research programs to enhance regional trade infrastructure.
Before starting her internship, Henriquez completed a semester-long export course and earned five industry-recognized badges in areas such as export documentation, international commercial terms and export compliance.
