HIRAM, Ohio – Hiram College’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing Class of 2025 has achieved a 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses for the third consecutive year.

This year, each graduate passed on their first attempt, and  all students did so with the minimum number of questions. In the computer-adaptive NCLEX format, that demonstrates a command of nursing knowledge and clinical judgment, a news release states.

The NCLEX-RN is a computer-adaptive exam designed to assess readiness for entry-level nursing practice.

The statewide NCLEX pass rate from January to June was 86.85%, while the national average during the same time was 88.78%.

“This milestone reflects the exceptional dedication and preparation of our nursing graduates, the expertise of our faculty and the strength of our program,” said Jacqueline Robinson, director of nursing at Hiram College, who joined the college in July. “As we celebrate this incredible accomplishment, I’m excited to build upon this legacy of excellence. Our focus is on continuing to prepare highly skilled, compassionate nurses who are ready to meet the evolving challenges of health care.”

According to the Ohio Board of Nursing, Hiram continues to rank among a select group of BSN programs in Ohio to achieve a perfect pass rate.

The Class of 2025 nursing graduates includes Alexis Flores, Cate Maguire, Trevor Nordstrom, Angel Crecraft, Jaiden Proctor, Emily Richardson, Briana Troyan and Cailtin Tucker.
