NILES, Ohio – Trumbull County Historical Society’s 11th annual Oktoberfest will return Sept. 26 at a new location.
This year’s event will take place from 4-8 p.m. at 7 17 Credit Union Field at Eastwood, home of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.
“We’re proud to welcome the Trumbull County Historical Society and its supporters to 7 17 Credit Union Field at Eastwood,” said Jordan Taylor, executive president of the Scrappers. “Community events like Oktoberfest help bring people together while supporting important local organizations, and we’re excited to be part of this year’s celebration.”
The event will feature 10 regional breweries, German-inspired food, grape stomping, face painting, a stein hoist contest and music from the Youngstown Saxton Band.

“The Eastwood Mall Complex is honored to host an event that celebrates local history while raising funds for an organization dedicated to preserving it,” said Johnny Chechitelli, regional director of marketing and communication for the Eastwood Mall Complex. “We look forward to welcoming guests for an evening of great food, entertainment and community spirit.”
