YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Historical Youngstown Ghost Tour will return Oct. 9-10 with an immersive and theatrical production.

Now in its fourth year, the event will take place on Wick Avenue.

Tickets for each tour are $15 ($30 for VIP tour) plus a charity donation fee and can be purchased online. The event is presented by Smarter Move Talent and is hosted by the city of Youngstown, The Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown CityScape, the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, Smarter Move Talent and Second Friday/Downtown Youngtown Partnership at sites across the city.

Each tour blends history, art and storytelling, with members of local cultural, historical and civic organizations delivering a historically grounded tour of Youngstown’s past. Guests will explore landmark sites, have a museum encounter and gain personal insights into the people of the city’s past.

The Oct. 9 tours will also coincide with Second Friday, presented by DYP and CityScape and hosted at The Butler Institute of American Art.

“Each year, the Youngstown Ghost Tour grows not just in attendance but in depth, showcasing prominent past leaders,” said Cindy Castro-DiRusso, producer at Youngstown Ghost Tour/Smarter Move Talent and Studios. “Partnering with The Butler and aligning with Second Friday allows us to elevate the experience with richer history, stronger community engagement and a creative artist energy that reflects the passion of Youngstown.”

Each tour uses costumed actors who will recreate the words and deeds of prominent past leaders through monologues.

The tours will take place from 5-8:30 p.m. Oct. 9 and 2-3 p.m. and 5-8:30 p.m. Oct. 10.

Tour-goers will check in at the Arms Family Museum, 648 Wick Ave. Free parking is available at The Butler, with ADA parking at the Arms.
