AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Kevin Brogan, vice president of marketing at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, says the property’s newest dining concept, Zombie Dogz & Piez, brings a unique twist on hot dogs and pizza to guests following its grand opening.
The concept, which originated as a food truck in Dayton before being acquired by the company, features specialty hot dogs topped with items such as mac and cheese or pulled pork, along with a new pizza offering designed specifically for the Mahoning Valley location.
Brogan said the brand was selected to replace Wahlburgers with a company-owned concept that could offer quick, creative menu items appealing to both racing fans during the day and late-night visitors on weekends.
With hot dogs long popular among racing audiences, the new restaurant combines that tradition with inventive toppings and freshly tested pizza recipes tailored to local tastes.
