CORTLAND, Ohio – Local Honda dealerships recently presented donations to two food banks.
Apostolakis Honda presented a $1,000 check to Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley, and Shenango Honda presented a $1,000 check to Mercer County Food Bank.
In addition to the monetary donations, Apostolakis Honda and Shenango Honda are also collecting nonperishable food items in their service centers through the end of the month. The dealerships have collected 224 pounds of food so far.
“Giving back to the community is what being a local business owner is all about” said John G. Apostolakis, Apostolakis Auto Group president. “I strongly believe in helping those in need in many different capacities, and helping to fight hunger amongst our neighbors is a mission I deeply support.”
