YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The second annual Honey & Lavender Festival will return to Trek Coffee House, 1588 Mahoning Ave., from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Freightyard festival area, behind the coffee shop.
Admission is free.
After the success of the inaugural festival last year, the event is expanding. It will feature shopping and sipping beverages with honey and lavender flavors.
A variety of local vendors, most offering honey and lavender-themed products and others, will showcase everything from artisan jewelry to homemade baked goods.
Guests can purchase honey and lavender drink specials, created by Trek’s recipe team and made by its baristas. From lavender-infused lemonades to honey-drizzled iced lattes, every drink will be made fresh.
A free yoga session will take place at noon, led by Studio Oxygen.
There will be live music from 1-3 p.m. by Aairo, and a demonstration beehive by the Columbiana Mahoning County Beekeepers Association.
To inquire about vendor opportunities, contact ShoMoré I. Wright, Trek event coordinator, atshomore@voyagerbeverages.com or 234 228 5229.
