BOARDMAN, Ohio – Public relations firm Houck Agency closed 2024 with a 30% revenue increase fueled by deeper engagements with existing clients, new relationships in the B2B sector, and strategic partnerships.

To support this expansion, the agency added a full-time account assistant in January.

“Our model is built on adding value, being easy to work with and earning trust,” says Jim Houck, president of Houck Agency. “For us, that’s led to long-term partnerships, deeper engagements and sustainable growth.”

The firm specializes in public relations consulting, media relations, copywriting and content marketing. A major driver of growth has been workforce development communications, helping clients address skills gaps in emerging talent pipelines.

A key highlight of 2024 was Houck Agency’s work with the Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition, whose e-newsletter saw 20% growth in opt-in subscribers and achieved a 59% average open rate across 23 issues.

Beyond business, Houck Agency serves area nonprofits Potential Development, Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens, and the Boo Squad.
