WARREN, Ohio – The number of houses sold in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties in June was up about 6% from a year earlier.
Cumulatively, 514 houses were sold in the three counties in June, compared with 483 in the same month a year earlier, MLS Now, a multiple listing service collecting sales data from the northeastern Ohio region, reported.
That includes 270 houses sold in Mahoning County in June, compared with 244 in June 2025, a 10.7% increase. In Trumbull County, 173 houses were sold in June, up 1.8% from 170 a year earlier. In Columbiana County, 71 units were sold in June, up 2.9% from 69 in June 2025.
New listings in June increased 4.4% in Mahoning County and 7.2% in Trumbull County. They decreased 2.4% in Columbiana County.
The total volume of houses sold in June compared with the same period a year earlier was up in Mahoning and Trumbull counties but down in Columbiana County.
In Mahoning County, June sales totaled $74.6 million, up 31.2% from $56.8 million a year earlier. In Trumbull County, total sales were up 1.9%, from $35 million in June 2025 to $35.6 million in June 2026. In Columbiana County, dollar volume totaled $15.9 million in June, down 2.3% from $16.3 million a year earlier.
Average sales prices in June compared with the same period a year earlier were up in Mahoning and Trumbull counties but down in Columbiana County.
The average sale in Mahoning County in June was $276,525, up 18.6% from $233,165 a year earlier. The average sales price in Trumbull County in June was $206,270, a .1% increase from June 2025’s $205,990. Columbiana County’s average sales price in June was $224,836, down 5% from $236,775 in June 2025.
