WARREN, Ohio – The number of houses sold in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties in February was up about 6% from a year earlier.

Cumulatively, 325 houses were sold in the three counties in February, compared with 306 in the same month a year earlier, MLS Now, a multiple listing service collecting sales data from the northeastern Ohio region, reported.

That includes 150 houses sold in Mahoning County last month, compared with 146 in February 2025, a 2.7% increase. In Trumbull County, 112 houses were sold last month, down 1.8% from 114 a year earlier. In Columbiana County, 63 units were sold in February, up 37% from 46 in February 2025.

New listings in February decreased 8.6% in Mahoning County, 15.2% in Trumbull County and 6.1% in Columbiana County.

The total volume of houses sold in February compared with the same period a year earlier was up in Mahoning and Columbiana counties but down in Trumbull County.

In Mahoning County, February sales totaled $33.2 million, up 17.4% from $28.3 million a year earlier. In Trumbull County, total sales were down 3%, from $22.3 million in February 2025 to $21.6 million last month. In Columbiana County, dollar volume totaled $12.9 million in February, up 50.9% from $8.5 million a year earlier.

Average sales prices in February were up in Mahoning and Columbiana counties but down in Trumbull County.

The average sale in Mahoning County in February was $221,483, up 14.3% from $193,858 a year earlier. The average sales price in Trumbull County last month was $193,573, a 1.3% decrease from February 2025’s $196,095. Columbiana County’s average sales price last month was $205,688, up 10.2% from $186,700 in February 2025.
