HUBBARD, Ohio – The Chestnut Ridge Campground has sold for $1.1 million.
Trumbull County Auditor’s Office records show the property at 6486 Chestnut Ridge Road was sold by Clover Hill Ventures LLC to A & C Wright Properties LLC. The sale posted Aug. 7.
An Ohio tourism website describes the campground as “a quiet, relaxing family campground offering camping, swimming and fishing” and says some people know it as Glen Echo or Lor-El.
A & C Wright Properties LLC filed articles of incorporation April 1 with the Ohio Secretary of State’s office.
Andrew Wright is its managing member.
Caroline Wright, co-owner, said Wednesday the couple toured the campground and fell in love with it.
“It’s been here for a while in Hubbard, so we’re excited to be the new owners and continue making it beautiful,” she said.
The new owners hope to bring more events and activities to the campground, Wright said. She complimented the previous owners’ work to maintain it.
County auditor’s office records show Clover Hill Ventures bought the property for $450,000 in 2018 from Chestnut Ridge Associates.
