The impact Larry has had on Meridian HealthCare, the behavioral health industry, and our community will continue to change the way people think, feel, and treat patients seeking addiction and mental health services. He has increased access to care, improved the quality of patient care through integrated care, and is constantly advocating for collaboration.
Larry implemented an integrated care model at Meridian, which addresses patients’ mental, emotional, social and physical health needs through a holistic approach. Primary care, acupuncture and chiropractic services are offered to patients to keep them physically healthy. This approach has provided better communication between providers and more seamless patient care.
Larry meets with lawmakers and governing bodies on all levels to share the struggles we face as an industry and to strategize ways to improve the system. He also meets regularly with other treatment agencies across Ohio, where they share successes and lessons learned to improve care for all patients.
