Induction Professionals’ Assets Acquired by Global Company

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Extrutec GmbH, a global leader in industrial plant systems for the aluminum extrusion industry, has acquired the assets of Induction Professionals LLC through a subsidiary, Extrutec North America Inc., marking an expansion in the North American market. 

Induction Professionals is a provider of induction heating and melting equipment. The acquisition will lead to the formation of a new company, Induction Professional Solutions. 

This strategic move strengthens Extrutec’s global footprint and expands its North American market portfolio. The acquisition combines Extrutec’s innovative and energy-efficient technology with Induction Professionals’ experience and regional presence, a news release states. 

Induction Professional Solutions will be located at the former Induction Professionals facility in Youngstown, Ohio, and will focus on providing advanced induction heating and melting systems. 

Building on the expertise and customer relationships of Induction Professionals, the new entity will also provide comprehensive service, repair and upgrade solutions to customers across the region. Induction Professional Solutions will operate as the North American counterpart to Extrutec’s German subsidiary, TCT Induktionstechnik GmbH.

To ensure a seamless transition for customers and employees as well as maintain continuity of service, Kearney, the former owner of Induction Professionals, will serve as general manager.
