HUBBARD – Inspira Health Group, a provider of long-term care and assisted living services, this year is celebrating 30 years of service to seniors and their families.
The locally owned company, founded in 1995, operates Elmwood, an assisted living center in Hubbard, as well as skilled nursing care centers in North Lima, Carrollton, Calcutta and Twinsburg.
Co-owners are Joseph Cilone, president, and Nick Berardino, chief financial officer. The company employs 450.
Cilone began his health care career as a registered nurse at the Calcutta nursing home when it was owned and operated by a predecessor company.
He became a licensed nursing home administrator in 1999. Rising through the ranks to vice president of operations, he ultimately purchased the company with three local partners in 2007.
“Our leadership team has been in the trenches. We know what quality care looks like because we’ve provided it firsthand,” he says. “That personal experience shapes everything we do, from how we train our staff to how we treat our residents and their families.”
To mark the 30-year milestone, Cilone says Inspira will host special events for its residents, their families and the staff.
