WARREN, Ohio – More than 300 Mahoning Valley students who participated in Inspiring Minds’ six-week summer enrichment program will showcase their entrepreneurial skills during the organization’s annual summer markets.
Inspiring Minds Warren’s fifth annual summer market will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 21 at 837 Woodland St. NE. Inspiring Minds Youngstown’s third annual summer market will take place from noon to 2 p.m. July 25 at 2110 South Ave.
The youth-led events will feature more than 30 student-created businesses developed during the summer program, giving participants an opportunity to apply lessons in entrepreneurship.
In addition to entrepreneurship, students in grades three through 12 participated in academic enrichment designed to help prevent summer learning loss. The six-week program also included art, sports, swimming, community service projects, college visits, industry tours, cooking lessons, gardening and field trips.
