BOARDMAN, Ohio – The building and land that houses the J. Arnold Wealth Management Co. at 8040 Market St. has been sold to a New Castle entity for $2.3 million, according to conveyance documents filed with the Mahoning County Auditor’s office.
Records show that J. Arnold Property Group LLC sold the building to G Triple B LLC, which gives a tax billing address of 136 Tradewind Road, New Castle, Pa.
The address matches that of ABA Therapy Solutions in New Castle, which provides educational services to children and adolescents with autism. ABA also lists its new location at 8040 Market St. on its website.
Articles of organization filed with the Ohio Secretary of State’s office show that G Triple B’s statutory agent is Friedman & Rummell Co., LPA, a law firm in Canfield.
The conveyance form was recorded Jan. 2. As of Monday, the transaction had not yet been recorded on the auditor’s website.
J. Arnold Wealth Management plans to relocate its Market Street offices to 7227 Glenwood Ave., tentatively sometime in March, according to a company representative.
Additional information provided by the auditor shows that the Market Street property is appraised at $1.485 million for tax purposes, and the building was constructed in 1971. The 16,000-square-foot building was once the location for Ethan Allen Furniture, which closed in 2019 after its owner retired.
Auditor records show that J. Arnold Property Management Group purchased the building in May 2021 for $990,000. The building underwent a remodeling in 2022.
