WARREN, Ohio – Jade Davis, the new CEO of Brite Energy Innovators, explains why he chose to step into the leadership role and outlines his vision for growing Ohio’s energy innovation ecosystem.

Davis says the opportunity to work directly with startups, combined with Brite’s focus on Ohio and northeastern Ohio, made the position especially meaningful. A Cleveland native with experience in energy policy and economic development across the country, he saw a chance to bring that expertise home and help guide the region through the energy transition.

Davis discusses how innovation will shape where factories are built, how infrastructure is developed and how Ohio can remain competitive as energy demand continues to rise. He emphasizes that meeting future power and economic challenges will require new ideas, new technologies and strong support systems for entrepreneurs.

Looking ahead, Davis says his top priority is expanding Brite’s resources for startups, growing the organization’s capacity and impact and securing new funding and partnerships to support more companies building the next generation of energy and infrastructure solutions.
