YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Jewish Community Relations Council of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation’s Andrew L. Lipkin Tikkun Olam Fund awarded the Friends of the Hubbard Library $1,000 to purchase books that combat antisemitism.
The Andrew L. Lipkin Tikkun Olam Fund was established in honor of Andrew Lipkin, who served as the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation’s third CEO until his retirement in 2024. The fund awards up to $1,000 annually to projects that combat antisemitism and all forms of hate.
Nonprofits in the Mahoning and Shenango valleys are eligible to apply to the fund, which has an annual deadline of Jan. 15. More information is available HERE.
