Jewish Community Center Opens Women Artists Gallery April 7
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Thomases Family Endowment of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation Art Gallery will open a new gallery featuring works from five area female artists with a reception April 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The gallery, Collective Resonance: An Exhibition of Women Artists, is in the Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, and features work from Carol Gallo, Tazim Jaffer, Jody Nudell, Joy White and Blanch Weiss. Cellist Inbal Segev, who will be in town to play with The Youngstown Symphony, will perform at the gallery opening.
Tickets for the reception are $10 until April 4 and $15 afterward. They can be bought online at jccyoungstown.org or at the community center’s bursar’s office.
