LIBERTY, Ohio – Junior Achievement of Eastern Ohio is preparing to host JA Inspire, formerly known as the JA College, Career, and Trades Expo, on Feb. 19 at The Metroplex Expo Center, 1620 Motor Inn Drive.
More than 1,000 high school juniors and seniors from Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana and Ashtabula counties are expected to attend.
JA Inspire is a large-scale, multicounty career fair in which high school juniors and seniors can interact with representatives from local businesses, post-secondary education institutions and various trades to learn about the job opportunities in the region. Additional focus is on how to get and keep a job and the soft skills required to be successful in the workplace.
“The demand for participation in college and career fairs at local schools can be overwhelming, but you don’t want to lose out on a potential hire or enrollee,” said Michele Merkel, Junior Achievement president. “JA Inspire offers a great opportunity to showcase everything you have to offer to a captivated audience. We are excited to bring this event back to our area.”
The Exhibitor Booth Package is available for $250 and includes one 8-foot table, electrical and Wi-Fi access (if needed), two chairs, lunch for two, light refreshments and listing in the JA Inspire Event Guide.
