CANFIELD, Ohio – Mahoning Valley families are invited to attend the fourth annual Kids Career Fair presented by Mahoning County Career & Technical Center, Valley STEM Academy and City Machine Technologies Inc.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at MCCTC, 7300 N Palmyra Road.

“There’s a job for everyone,” said Claudia Kovach, vice president of City Machine Technologies. “There are so many opportunities for careers in the Valley. This day is a great way to showcase the many careers because it’s never too early to start talking about careers.”

The Kids Career Fair was developed to showcase career opportunities in the area that many children and parents might not know about. Information about the fair can be found HERE.

The event coincides with February’s Career and Technical Schools Month, MCCTC Superintendent John Zehentbauer said.

“Our students these days have multiple job offers coming right out of the career and technical center,” he said. “This is just another way to explore our school and learn about jobs that they can have right out of high school.”

Businesses are asked to provide a fun table activity for children during the event, as well as pass out giveaways.

The Kids Career Fair is free and open to the public.
