YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown State University community is invited to leave its mark on a temporary mural honoring the legacy of Kilcawley Center.
YSU interdisciplinary studio art majors Lauren Barrett and Emma Strope-Downs, under the direction of art professor Dragana Crnjak, are leading the mural project.
The Kilcawley mural serves as a temporary farewell to the building ahead of its upcoming renovation. On display for four weeks, it highlights 50 years of history through key moments and memories, from past events to modern traditions. Designed by students and staff, the mural invites community participation and reflection on the building’s role in campus life.
